As Nigerians prepare to vote for their next crop of leaders, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Chief Monday Onyeme, has said the party is fielding intelligent and vibrant people for elective positions.

Addressing prospective voters in the ongoing Ward-to-Ward Campaign of the party, Chief Onyeme, stated that PDP is on a rescue mission and all the candidates should be voted for.

“We are here to thank you for believing in the PDP, our party is on a rescue mission to make Nigeria better again.

“PDP is fielding intelligent people, people who can proffer solutions to the problems of Nigeria, people who are ready to fix Nigeria, we should vote for people with the capacity, the brain, the energy to fix our country.

“Thank you for agreeing to vote Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as President which means voting for our Governor as Vice-President; thank you for your commitment to voting for Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori as Governor which means voting for me, your son as Deputy Governor.

“Our Senatorial candidate, Prince Ned Nwoko is experienced and you can see that Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi and Hon. Emeka Osamuta, the people who you are sending to the House of Representatives and House of Assembly are very youthful, vibrant, and intelligent: PDP fields people who understand what Nigerians need, people who can address the problems of Nigerians, so, let us get it right once again by voting for PDP all the way.”

Also speaking, Chairman, PDP, Delta State, Barr. Kingsley Esiso, listed several failures of APC-led government and thanked Nigerians for agreeing to vote out the party with their permanent voters cards and vote for candidates of the PDP in the 2023 elections.

Chief Ifeanyichukwu Onwukamike and others who spoke gave reasons why PDP will get 100 percent votes of the people.

“We are tired of All Progressives Congress, APC, and its misrule, so, our people will vote for PDP,” Chief Onwukamike asserted.

Elder Moses Iduh, Chairman, PDP Delta North, had introduced all the candidates of the PDP for the forthcoming elections and thanked the people for their commitment to the PDP.

Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ochor Christopher Ochor, and Chief Godwill Obielum were among the personalities who attended the rallies.
