The Delta State Government will on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, take possession of a multimillion naira intensive care unit (ICU) donated by Pastor Chuks Agidigbo.
A statement signed by Agidigbo and made available to newsmen in Delta State, revealed that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will receive the ICU at the Central Hospital, Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to the statement, the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA,, among other dignitaries are also, expected to attend the ceremony billed to commence at 11 am.
“We wish to inform you that on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, a six-bed intensive care unit built by Pastor Chuks Agidigbo through the Chuks Agidigbo Leadership Foundation and Medast Limited will be donated to the Delta State Ministry of Health,” the statement read.
It was garnered that the ICU will be the first to be located within Kwale and its environs and the first donation of its kind in this part of the world to a government -owned hospital.
