DR. (Mrs) Stella Egbra has assumed office as the new Head of Department (HOD) of Mass Communication, Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku.
She was found worthy and appointed last week by the School Management after the immediate past HoD, Dr. Emmanuel Akpoveta was elevated to the position of the Dean, School of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
She said, “I was never expecting to be the HoD of this great department anytime soon.

“I did my Ph.D for personal development and capacity building for the future, but becoming the Chief Custodian of the Communicator in this era was never a part of my thinking; I thank God for His grace and mercy at this time.”
