A mysterious fire on Sunday morning gutted a superstore belonging to Mrs. Karister Omiojieahior.
Eyewitnesses stated that the cause of the fire could not be ascertained.

However, arson has not been ruled out, as there was no electricity supply at the time of the inferno, eliminating the possibility of a power surge.
The row of shops located at the Shaguolo roundabout, opposite the Warri Refinery in Ekpan, was known for selling household items, provisions, and assorted drinks in both wholesale and retail quantities.
Chief Ugochukwu Solomon, whose sister owned the main shop destroyed in the blaze, told newsmen that “Mrs. Karister Omiojieahior was hospitalized due to the shock of seeing everything she worked for over decades lost to fire within minutes.
”At present, we do not know where she will start from, and our prayer is for God to strengthen her.
”I am hopeful that our Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, and other public-spirited individuals and agencies will come to her aid, otherwise, how is she going to start over?”
Attempts to speak with Mrs Omiojieahior were not successful.
