REV. Fr. Victor Ijeh has called on Christians to put into practice, the word of God.
Fr. Ijeh made the call on Tuesday, during a special thanksgiving service to mark the birth anniversary of Miss Ifeakachukwu Joan Egugbo, at the Catholic Church of the Ascension, Asaba, The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Hilary Ibegbulem joined in the celebration of the Holy Mass.
According to him, Christians should not only listen to the word of God, the way they live should be guided by the words of God.
Fr. Ijeh said, “We should hear the word of God and put it into practice.
“Let the word of God you hear every day be seen in your life; put into practice, what you hear.
“Let us become brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ by listening to the word of God and carrying it out.”
Also, Ezinna Emeka Ezeibekwe celebrated the anniversary of his birth at the Holy Mass.
Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, members of his family, friends and well wishers joined Miss Egugbo and Ezeibekwe in the thanksgiving and cutting of their anniversary cake.
