The Maris Trust Council (MTC), organizers of the Maris Annual Public Service Lecture, has extended warm congratulations to the Honourable Commissioner for Works (Rural Roads) and Public Information in Delta State, Hon. Charles Aniagwu, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Council, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo, the organization recalled the contributions made by Hon. Aniagwu as a discussant at the Year 2025 edition of the Maris Annual Public Service Lecture, which had as its theme: Local Governance And Sustainable Development.
MTC described Hon. Aniagwu as a quintessential administrator, an astute media strategist, and a steadfast pillar of public service whose contributions to governance and societal development remain remarkable.
The statement noted that Hon. Aniagwu’s unwavering commitment to excellent communication, public governance, and infrastructure development in Delta State has earned him widespread respect across professional and political circles.
”On this special day, the Maris Trust Council joins Hon. Charles Aniagwu’s family, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to celebrate a dedicated public servant, a seasoned communicator, and a true friend of the Council.
”Hon. Charles Aniagwu has consistently demonstrated exceptional capacity, humility, and dedication in every role he has undertaken.
”At the Year 2025 edition of the Maris Annual Public Service Lecture which featured seasoned technocrat Sir Patrick Ejidoh as Keynote Speaker, Hon. Aniagwu made immeasurable contributions to knowledge in practical terms as a discussant.
”It will be recalled that at that lecture, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, was the Special Guest of Honour, and his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph.D., was the Guest of Honour. Obi Greg Oputa III, the Obi of Aboh Kingdom, served as the Chairman of the event. Real estate expert and Founder of Eagles Height Estate, Mrs. Mabel Magbulu, alongside the Chairman of Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Vincent Oyibody, discussed the topic with Hon. Aniagwu.
“A renowned public affairs analyst, Prof. Kemi Emina, the OdiEga of Ebu, was the Moderator,” the statement read.
