“Jesus healed ten lepers and only one came back to give thanks to God and he was made whole.

“It is good to give thanks because when you allow God to speak on your life, His words will come to pass.”

He added that it was important for Christians to have faith and support the work of God.

“Who is God to you?
Serving God is an option, God does not force anybody to serve Him, but it is important for you to choose wisely.

“The right choice is to serve God with all that you have and always remember to give Him thanks, that is the greatest offering that you can make to God and He will answer you,” Pastor Ogude said.

Speaking at the church, Hon. Osilonya said, “I am very happy and I am here to return thanks to God.

“Out of twelve persons who contested for the Chairmanship position, God found favour in me and I want to give God all the glory and to thank the College of Leaders, Ndokwa East led by Chief Godwill Obielum for supporting me.

“It is on record that I and the twenty Councillors emerged and there was no court case.

“We are experiencing unprecedented peace in Ndokwa East and our prayer is, may we not disappoint our leaders, the people of Ndokwa East and lovers of democracy.”
