GOVERNOR Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta has congratulated the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Chief Ndudi Elumelu, on his 56th birth anniversary.
In a statement in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, the governor said that Elumelu was an astute politician and outstanding lawmaker, with sterling achievements.
He commended Elumelu for his remarkable contributions in the legislature, especially as Minority Leader in the 9th Assembly.
Okowa said “You have been a leading light as a lawmaker and a model as an astute politician.
“As a government, we appreciate your leadership role, especially in mobilising your colleagues from Delta in supporting our efforts at developing our dear state.
“We remain proud of your role in the National Assembly and we will continue to pray to God to grant you good health and greater years ahead.
“On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I join your constituents, admirers and colleagues across the country to congratulate you, my dear brother and friend, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Godwin Elumelu, on the occasion of your 56th birth anniversary.
