Deputy Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Monday Onyeme, the Senatorial Candidate of the party in the State, Prince Ned Nwoko, and the Minority Leader of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu and others have called for 100 percent votes for candidates of the party in the 2023 general elections.

Addressing members of the party during campaign tour of different Wards in Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, the PDP candidates for different political offices, observed that the people of the Wards should put their assurances of 100 percent votes in the forthcoming elections.

Chief Onyeme said, “your youth leaders, women leaders, Ward Chairmen, and other leaders of the Local Government have assured us of 100 percent votes, we thank you for the assurances.

“We want you to put it into practice in the 2023 general elections, we want you to get more dividends of democracy; you know that our Governor, Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, is going to become our Vice-President if you give your 100 percent votes for the PDP.

“Our Governorship Candidate, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is a man who is on ground, he has lived with us, we know him and he is the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, he understands what we need and he is going to give us M.O.R.E.

“Prince Ned Nwoko and the Minority Leader of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ndudi Elumelu are going to Abuja to work with our Governor who is going to be our Vice-President to attract more development to our State, to our people.”

Prince Nwoko in his speech, stated that the victory of the PDP at the polls will bring about a new dawn for the people of Delta North while Rt. Hon. Elumelu, asserted that Aniocha South is known for producing Ministers, including the President of the World Bank, a PDP Chieftain, Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Okonjo-Iwela.

He told the people that he will continue to attract development to the area and urged them to give all their votes to the PDP.

Earlier, the Chairman of PDP, Delta North, Elder Moses Iduh, thanked the people of Aniocha South for their massive support for the PDP and urged them to provide 100 percent votes for the PDP.

Some of the places visited include Ward 1 – Azagba Ogwashi, Ward 2 – Ogwashi Uku, Ward 3 – Ogwashi Uku, Ward 5 – Ubulu Uku, Ward 4 – Ubulu Uku, and Ward 6 – Ubulu Unor.

The campaign train had earlier, visited Ejeme, Isheagu, Ubulu-Okiti, and other communities in Aniocha South.
