The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph.D., and Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, CON, have given reasons why Nigerians should re-elect President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
They spoke on Saturday at Kwale during the flag-off of the APC Top-Bottom Support Group, an initiative of a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ossai Nicholas Ossai.
Deputy Governor Onyeme said that President Tinubu’s administration has done so much by embarking on reforms that will put Nigeria on an irreversible progressive path.
”What we are witnessing in the administration of President Bola Tinubu has never been seen before, and it is placing our country among progressive nations.
”We should vote for President Tinubu to enable him to continue with his good works.
”I thank Hon. Ossai Ossai for this initiative and for saying that anybody who will not vote for APC 5/5 should not come to his house.
”When you work respectfully with your leaders, God will also promote you.
”In Delta, we are aware of what our Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is doing to transform our state; the dividends of our administration are being felt in all nooks and crannies of our state.
“As it concerns the Ndokwa nation, we should commend the administration with our votes for the APC because of the sustainable electricity project, the multi-billion naira bridge that will open up Akarai, the Ndemili/Utagba-Uno Road, Utagba-Uno/Eweshi Road, Inam Abbi Road, and the Emu/Ashaka Road project, among several other projects.
”We are truly getting the benefits of democracy.
”The state and local government councils are getting more money to execute projects and pay salaries because of the favourable economic policies of President Tinubu.
“Therefore, we should vote for President Tinubu because he will do even more if returned to office,” the Deputy Governor said.
Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, CON, who is the APC Senatorial candidate for Delta North Senatorial District, also spoke glowingly about why Nigerians should vote for President Tinubu and all candidates of the APC in the forthcoming elections.
Others who spoke at the event included the Chairman of the APC, Delta North Senatorial District, Engr. Dan Ossai; the member representing Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, who is seeking re-election on the APC platform; and the House of Assembly candidate of the party for Ndokwa West Constituency, Chief Princewill Olie.
Earlier, Hon. Ossai Nicholas Ossai said, “we are here to work for all APC candidates; the APC Senatorial candidate, Sen. Dr. Okowa, inspired me politically; so, in every election where Sen. Okowa is contesting for a position, I will work for him and all the candidates of the party.
”The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is my friend; his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, is my brother; and we know that Senator Okowa supported our brother, Senator Patrick Osakwe, when he was contesting for the Senate seat, which allowed Ndokwa to have 12 years in the Senate.
“Aniocha/Oshimili has also served 12 years in the Senate, and the Ika people have now brought out Sen. Okowa to complete their 12 years in the Senate; so, we must vote for all candidates of the APC.
”Everybody who believes in Ossai Ossai will vote for APC 5/5 and if you are not ready to vote for all the candidates of the APC, do not visit me.”
