THE police on Monday, destroyed a hideout of hard drug suppliers In Bayelsa State.
Police spokesperson for Bayelsa State Police Command, Mr. Asinim Butswat, said in a statement that during the raid which was carried out by the operatives of Operation Puff Adder, the hideout was burnt down.
While stating that the operation took place on Monday, Butswat said, said the operatives stormed the hideout where criminals gather to smoke cocaine, cannabis and other psychotropic drugs before going out to commit their nefarious activities in Yenagoa and neighbouring communities.

He added that that efforts are on to arrest the drug dealers.
