Ahead of 2027 general elections in Nigeria, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Ugochukwu Ndubuka has lauded the recent endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for second term in office by caucuses of the ruling APC in the country.
In a statement on Sunday, Ndubuka who was also the Abia House of Assembly candidate of the APC for Umuahia East constituency during the last election, maintained that the President has provided transformative leadership and development initiative that has placed the country on path of greatness.
He noted that Tinubu’s administration had engendered impactful economic reforms has significantly cushioned effect of fuel subsidy removal, inflations, and also address naira devaluations in global markets.
In the southeast geopolitical zone, Ndubuka posited that the present APC-controlled federal government had given the region sense of belongings by establishing South East Development Commission (SEDC), and including the zone in other development initiatives it embarked upon.
The party stalwart commended the President for the ongoing establishment of airport in Abia state which according to him, would foster foreign economic investments in South East and boost its revenue base.
He explained that President Tinubu’s endorsement will engender greater dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of Nigeria when reelected for another in office in 2027.
Ndubuka assured that the people of southeast will massively vote for the president’s reelection come 2027 to enable him consolidate and foster more democratic gains already-achieved by his administration in most critical sectors of the nation’s development.
Emphasizing that Nigerians can’t afford to remove a performing government in the country for mediocre, saying the citizens are pleased and relieved on performances of the incumbent and had settled to return tinubu as their President in 2027 for continuity and visionary leadership in the nation.
The ex-candidate further used the medium to commend the deputy speaker of the House of Representative, Rt Hon Benjamin Kalu, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu Chief Ikechi Emenike and other eminent APC leaders for their unwavering commitment to unity and rebuilding of the party in Abia state.
The foremost lawyer expressed optimisms that his party will form a new government in Abia state and retain the presidential seat of the country in 2027.
