Arsenal striker, Marley Frohock has publicly confirmed his eligibility to represent the Super Eagles at the senior international level.
The 17-year-old, who was born in Basildon, United Kingdom, qualifies for the three-time African champions through his Nigerian mother. He also holds eligibility to play for England via his English father, who Frohock credited with encouraging him to start playing football.
Confirming his heritage in an interview with Arsenal’s ‘Young Gun’ series, Frohock stated, “In terms of my family background, my mum is Nigerian and my Dad is English, with a bit of Dutch heritage too.”
The youngster’s rapid ascent at Arsenal saw him join the Hale End Academy in May 2022 and sign a scholarship in the summer of 2025. Despite only being 17, he has already debuted for the U18s (in October 2024) and has trained with the senior squad ahead of recent Premier League matches against Manchester City and Sunderland.
Crucially, Frohock remains uncapped by either nation at any level, leaving his final international allegiance open.
