Frontline chieftain of the Labour Party, Naval Commander MacDonald Ubah, Rtd, has saluted the Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Chioma Otti on the occasion of the celebration of 60th birthday on Tuesday.

Ubah who doubled as the Special Adviser on Security Matters to the State Governor, in a congratulatory message, lauded Dr Otti’s sterling leadership qualities and strides which had stood him tall among the equal

He said Governor Otti has redefined governance in Abia state through the implementation of several development-oriented policies and programmes by his administration.

According to him, the policies by the Governor has continued to yield gigantic projects that had positively enhanced people’s livelihoods and given every facets of Abia state an economic and infrastructural facelifts.
Ubah asserted that history would be kind to Governor Otti for placing Abia on the path of progress and economic greatness which has stood him tall among successive leaders of the state.

Describing Dr Otti’s emergence as the Abia Governor as God’s doing, Ubah asserted that the ex-bank chief has salvaged the state from the clutches of democratic misrule foisted on the people by past successive administrations, adding that Abia is now in the hand of God.

While congratulating Governor Alex Otti on the occasion of 60th birthday celebration, the ex-naval commander prayed almighty God to continue to grant the Celebrant more long life, wisdom, strengths and direction in his tireless efforts and that of his administration towards achieving a new and greater Abia.

He however wished the State Chief Executive a joyous and wonderful birthday celebration.
