The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday, recorded 1,016 new cases of COVID-19.
NCDC made the disclosure on Wednesday night through its verified Twitter account.
It stated that with the new figure, the total number of infections in the country is now 86,576.
The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Wednesday.
