The Management of the Delta State College of Health Technology, Ovrode, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its various National Diploma (ND), Diploma, and Certificate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

​Established by the Delta State Government in 2025, the college is mandate-driven to train highly skilled, middle-level healthcare providers to meet the critical manpower needs of Nigeria’s primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare delivery systems.

​AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

​To make the application process easier for prospective students, the entry requirements have been simplified into two distinct categories:

​1. National Diploma (ND) & Regular Diploma Programmes

​General Requirement: Candidates must possess five (5) O’Level credits in WASC, NECO, or GCE at not more than two (2) sittings. The five credits must include: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English Language.

    • ​Medical Imaging Technology
    • ​Paramedics Technology
    • ​Health Information Management Technology
    • ​Medical Laboratory Technology
    • ​Dispensing Opticianry
    • ​Dental Therapy
    • ​Environmental Health Technology
    • ​Public Health Technology
  • ​Diploma Programmes (No JAMB Required):
    • ​Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)
    • ​Pharmacy Technician
    • ​Medical Laboratory Technician
    • ​Dispensing Opticianry
    • ​Health Information Management (Technician)

​2. Certificate Programmes

General Requirement: Candidates must possess three (3) O’Level credits in WASC, NECO, or GCE at not more than two (2) sittings. The three credits must include: Biology, Mathematics, and English Language.
