Delta State Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, on Friday, attended the burial ceremony of Mrs. Dorothy Moka, LSM, in Utagba-Uno, Ndokwa West Local Government Area of the state.
Mrs. Moka, the wife of Sir Augustine Moka, a retired Permanent Secretary from the defunct Bendel and Delta State Civil Services, passed away at the age of 82.
Earlier, a funeral Mass was held in her honour at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Utagba-Uno.
During the Mass, Rev. Fr. Jude Okwudi, joined by Rev. Fr. John Konyeke and other priests, urged Christians to live a Christ-like life by doing good deeds.
Other dignitaries who attended the ceremony included Rear Admiral Mike Onah (rtd), Chairman of Ndokwa West Local Government Council, Hon. Obi Nzete, Senior Policy Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Rt. Hon. Funkekeme Solomon, Deputy Chief of Staff Sir Christopher Osakwe, Engr. Dan Ossai, Sir Fidel Emeni, retinue of retired Permanent Secretaries, among others.
