Egwuyenga To Deliver UI Alumni Lecture September 19

The Vice-Chancellor of Delta State University, Abraka (DELSU), Prof Andy Ogochukwu Egwuyenga, will deliver the Univerrsity of Ibadan Alumni Association (UIAA), Asaba Chapter’s 2024 Annual Public Service Lecture, scheduled to hold on September 19, 2024 in Asaba.

Egwuyenga is expected to speak on the theme, ‘Integrity and National Development: What Nexus?. At the Unity Hall of Government House, Asaba by 2pm.

The Chairman of the Asaba chapter of the alumni association, J. I. Kagho, Esq., at a briefing pointed out that the UIAA Annual Public Service Lecture was a platform used in proffering solutions to the challenges in the society especially in a developing society such as ours

Speaking further, he said the 2024 Annual Public Service Lecture is also to provide an opportunity for greater bonding among its members and to project a positive image of their alma mater.

According to the Chairman of UIAA Asaba Chapter, “Going by the trend in the global village, the alumni association has opted to play a more prominent role in the development of the institution.

Kagho disclosed that the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, will be the Chairman of the Occasion, while His Royal Majesty, Obi (Engr) Nduka Ezeagwuna, the Obi of Issele-Uku, would be the Royal Father of the Day.

Expected to be in attendance are the Worldwide Executives of the Alumni Association led by Prof. Saawua Gabriel Nyityo; policymakers, captains of industries, the academia, UI Alumni Association members and other stakeholders.
