Ejakpovi Condoles Obire’s Family

THE Executive Assistant, Health Monitoring to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Dr. (Pharm.) Nelson Ejakpovi has condoled the family of late Mrs. Idoni Obire.

Idoni Obire, was the oldest woman, the Okpako Egweya of Emevor kingdom, Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State and she joined her ancestors at the age of 120 years.

Accompanied by Mr. Stephen Otuata, the pioneer Vice Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Isoko North; Hon. Lucky Okeremu (immediate past Councillor of Emevor Ward 2, and the coordinator of Hope Alive, Emevor Chapter): Hon. Patrick Ededhe; Mr. Oyibo Okiemute (Chairman Vigilant and Youth Leader, PDP Emevor), among others, during the condolence visit at the weekend, Dr Ejakpovi, noted that the deceased played stabilising roles in Emevor Kingdom.

While noting that she will be greatly missed despite the age she passed on, Ejakpovi urged her family and the people of Emevor to take solace in the fact that the Okpako Egweya had joined her ancestors gloriously.

On hand to receive Ejakpovi and his team at Urofeh quarters, Uroviethe Emevor were Mr Williams Edeki (eldest member of the family), Mr Manager Edeki (family member), Mr James Idoni (eldest son), Mr Okpikor Samuel (family member), Mrs Comfort Idoni (eldest daughter), Mrs Regina Idoni (daughter in-law), among several others.

.Mr Edeki who spoke on behalf of the family, thanked Ejakpovi for his support for the elderly.

He noted that Ejakpovi’s philanthropic gestures in the community and beyond have not gone unnoticed, adding that the family was grateful for the visit.
