A Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Dennis Onochie, has charged Christians to be more interested in things that would promote the work of God.
The Priest made the call in a Homily he delivered on Sunday morning at the Catholic Mass Centre, Maris Schools, Amachai Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State.
According to him, Christians should not be distracted by worldly things but should be focused on things that has to do with God to enable them make heaven.
He emphasized that “heaven is real, let us not be fascinated by the things of the world, let our hearts be changed for the Lord.
“As Christians, we should not allow the difficulties and challenges of this world to discourage us, we should continue to hope in God and trust him.”
The well attended Holy Mass was the second to be celebrated in the school since it was approved as a Mass Centre by Bishop Michael Elue of Issele-Uku Diocese of the Catholic Church.
