According to Masor, “education is very important, it is a very sound foundation for the youths as it prepares them to face future challenges.

“The future of our country depends on these children, the youths of today and if they are properly groomed, properly educated, we can be sure that Nigeria will be better.”

Speaking on why he chose to donate books to secondary schools, the philanthropist said, “the donation of books to the students is to let them know that the society cares about their education and that they should be more committed to their studies.

“Education is not something that we should toy with, the well-to-do individuals should encourage the students, the Delta State government is doing a lot to make the schools to be in different communities and it is necessary to complement the efforts of government by encouraging our children to make use of the facilities.”

Those who spoke at the schools where the donations took place, thanked Engr. Masor for the books and prayed for him to succeed in his activities.

Some of those who accompanied Hon. Akpe to donate the books include the Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Youth Development, Comr. Godspower Ifeakachukwu Olili, Comr. Ajieh Kingsley Chibuzor, Dennis Chukwuemeka Madusonibe and other members of Akulunor Support Group for Odoziani.
