“Ugo will always be the first person to greet you, he never held grudges, unfortunately, we are mourning his death,” Onwidinjo said.

Also speaking, Ogbueshi Francis Okolo said, “what we are doing is to celebrate a good man, a very good neighbour whose life was cut short in controversial circumstances; we will surely miss him.”

Landlord to the deceased, Chukwuma Onyemenjo Okonkwo, in an emotion-laden speech, said, “I lost a true brother in Nwanne; his death has taught me a great lesson, he had tall dreams that were cut short by death; he was like a younger brother to me and I miss him so much.”

Hon. Keynes Agbidi, Special Assistant to the Governor of Delta State on Community Development, disclosed that late Nwanne as a former Councillor in Ndokwa East Local Government Council had a lot of prospect as a young man.
“It is unfortunate that he died so young, we miss him as a brother, neighbour and friend,” Agbidi said.

Mr Eric Okotcha said, “Nwanne was a handsome young man, a jolly good fellow, a man who was multi-ingua at his age, we will miss him.”

Also, Comrade Fidelis Egugbo asserted, “I lack words to say how I feel about this evening, the person that you all gathered today to celebrate his brief life on earth was like a younger brother, very respectful and I thank you all for this evening, please, continue to pray for the successful repose of his soul.”
