A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Godwill Obielum, has announced the death of his mother, Mrs Victoria Ossai Obielum.
Chief Obielum on Friday morning, said that his mother died on Thursday evening at the age of 87 after a brief illness.
According to him, the deceased matriarch of the late Pa Onyemejor Obielum of Ushie, Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State, is survived by her children, grand children, great grand children and other relations.

Chief Obielum described his late mother as a great pillar of support, a devout Christian who will be greatly missed.
