Obodo Congratulates Oborevwori Over Supreme Court Victory

The Chairman, Ndi Igbo Cultural Forum, Asaba, High Chief Eze Chinedu Obodo, has congratulated Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, over his victory at the Supreme Court.

High Chief Obodo in a congratulatory message to the governor on behalf of himself, his family and Ndi Igbo, expressed confidence that the governor will deliver the M.O.R.E. Agenda of advancing the state successfully.

He observed that since assumption of office as the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Oborevwori has shown commitment and rare leadership qualities in managing the affairs of the state.

“The victory of our Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori was received with joy across Delta State and beyond because we have faith in his ability to deliver in practical terms, the dividends of democracy.

“Ndigbo are happy because in a lot of ways, we are enjoy his leadership, the state is now very conducive for business and we believe that he will only improve on what he is doing as a governor who came prepared for the business of governance.

“With the victory at the polls, we were confident that the judiciary will uphold the will of the people and that was what happened and we give thanks to God.

“While we congratulate our Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, we thank Deltans for their patience and use this medium to continue to appeal to them not to waver in their support for the governor to enable him succeed.

“Yes, though, it is time for business, our Governor needs all of us now more than before to support him, encourage him to succeed because whatever he is going to do as a governor is in our own interest as Deltans or people who are doing business in Delta State.

“Certainly, with Rt. Hon. Oborevwori’s disposition to the affairs of the state, it can only be better and we shall continue to give God the glory,” High Chief Obodo said.

He emphasized that Ndi Igbo in particular will continue to support Governor Oborevwori’s administration to enable him deliver successfully on his mandate.
