Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has joined millions of faithful across the globe to celebrate the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church (Worldwide), Dr. David Oyedepo, on the occasion of his 71st birthday.
Governor Oborevwori in a goodwill message issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, extolled Bishop Oyedepo’s unwavering devotion to God’s work and his profound impact on the spiritual and socio-educational growth of the nation.
He described the revered cleric as a rare gift to Christendom whose teachings, prayers and mentorship have continued to shape generations of God-fearing Christians within and beyond Nigeria.
“Bishop Oyedepo is not only a father of faith but also a role model whose life of service, integrity, and visionary leadership continues to inspire millions, including me,” the Governor said.
He highlighted Oyedepo’s pioneering role in the Christian ministry and education, noting his enduring legacies in the establishment and nurturing of Covenant University and Landmark University, which have remained centers of excellence and moral upbringing.
Oborevwori said: “On behalf of my family, the Government and the good people of Delta State, I heartily congratulate our father in the Lord, Bishop David Oyedepo, as he marks 71 remarkable years of a life dedicated to God and humanity.
