The Delta State Governor-Elect and Speaker of the House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, has joined family, friends and political associates of the Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Edward Ubosi, in celebrating his birthday, recognising the brilliance and innovativeness of the Speaker, who has served Enugu State as a pragmatic leader.
In a press statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Dennis Otu, the Governor -Elect , who is also the National Deputy Chairman of Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures stated that his colleague has demonstrated and exhibited rare leadership qualities which has brought about good governance in Enugu State since his emergence as the Speaker of the House.
According to the Delta State Governor-Elect; ” My friend, brother and wonderful colleague, I congratulate you today as Almighty God has graciously added another year to your eventful life. I am proud of your innovative spirit and capacity to lead a vibrant House which has passed several bills for the good governance of Enugu State”.
“As you add another year today, I urge you to never relent in providing good leadership, even at the most difficult moments. Your passion for the service of the people must not wane now. You have always distinguished yourself in the conference of Speakers . This is another milestone celebration today”, he added.
Rt. Hon. Oborevwori prayed for long life and divine health for Rt. Hon. Ubosi, asking God to continue to protect his colleague.
