He continued, “on behalf of the Delta State government, I congratulate the Chairman and members of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Delta State chapter on this remarkable achievements.

“This is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous in our eyes, it is with immense gratitude, that this edifice is being dedicated today.

“I commend the leadership of the state PFN for this great vision, and for demonstrating the courage and resilience to see it to completion, may God’s favour and blessings rest mightily upon you for this great work.”

The governor thanked those who contributed in several ways to the building of the city, describing it as a “modern day version of Solomon’s Temple.”

The immediate past Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, thanked PFN for turning the place around, and commended the Church for the enthusiasm for Christ.

“The church is about the people, not the building, we need to pray as a church seizelessly, to God be the glory for what I see here today.

“Collectively, we must pray for our nation, it is not a time to grumble, it is not time to complain, we must pray, have faith in God that whatever that happens, God has a reason for it.

“I am excited that the church is united and we pray that the church will remain united, no matter the challenge we have as a nation, the prayer of the church will bring about the needed change,” Okowa said.

National President, PFN, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, stated, “there is no controversy about it, Delta is a Christian State and it will continue to be greater.

“Nigerians are suffering, price of goods have gone up, we need divine intervention, Nigeria is in trouble, things cannot continue like this, but there is hope for Nigeria, darkness will not overcome Nigeria.

“Favour will come over Nigeria.”

Earlier, the Chairman of PFN in the state, Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi, said that the completion of the project and dedication ceremony was made possible due to faith, faithfulness, focus, prayers and sacrifice.

He thanked God for the resilience and courage exhibited to see that the Alpha and Omega City was completed and thanked Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and his predecessor, Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa for contributing to the building of the Alpha and Omega City, Agbarho, Delta State.

Some of those who attended the ceremony include Hon. Charles Emetulu of the Delta State House of Assembly, the immediate past Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Christopher Ochor, Apostle Zilly Aggrey, Archbishop G. Avwomakpa, traditional rulers, among others.

Awards were presented to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, among others at the ceremony.
