A renowned politician and Pharmacist, Dr. Nelson Ejakpovi, has assured Deltans that the about to be inaugurated Governor and Deputy Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and Chief Monday Onyeme, will deliver on their mandate.

Ejakpovi, on Saturday, said that the incoming Governor and his Deputy are men who are on ground in the state and will deliver on their electoral promises.

He said, “Governor Ifeanyi Okowa came prepared for governance and we are all witnesses to his achievements.

“Rt. Hon. Oborevwori who will subscribe to oath of office as Governor of Delta State and his Deputy, Chief Onyeme, contributed immensely to the success story of Governor Okowa’s administration, so, if our out-going Governor has done very well, we should be confident that those who have under-studied his style of governance are capable of doing MORE for Deltans.”
Ejakpovi, added that the reception Rt. Hon. Oborevwori and Onyeme received during the campaign which was followed by massive votes for them across the state was evident that the incoming Governor and his Deputy are loved by the people.
He said, “we were actively involved in the campaign and the electioneering process and Rt. Hon. Oborevwori will reciprocate the love that he received and is still receiving from Deltans by working for them, all that is required is for Deltans to remain peaceful and support the administration with their prayers.”
Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori and Chief Monday Onyeme will be inaugurated as Governor and Deputy Governor respectively on Monday, May 29, 2023 at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, Delta State.
