GOVERNOR Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta, on Wednesday, congratulated the Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, Mr Daniel Ossai, on his 51st birth anniversary.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, in Asaba, Okowa said that Ossai as an astute politician and reputable administrator, had brought desired discipline and sanity to the party’s administration in the state.

He commended Ossai who was Chairman of the party in Ndokwa West Local Government Area for two terms and Senior Special Assistant on Project Monitoring, for his immeasurable contributions to the growth and development of the party in Delta and Nigeria.

According to him, Daniel Ossai deserves all the accolades as he has worked hard to change the narrative in party administration since he assumed office as secretary in January, 2021.

He added that Ossai’s selfless service to PDP and the state as well as his many accomplishments in personal and public life remained a reference point, and said: “On behalf of my family, the government and people of Delta, I congratulate our indefatigable Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Daniel Ossai, as he celebrates his 51st birth anniversary.

“My dear State Secretary, over the years, you have played significant roles in the growth and development of our party – from your local government to the state level, and for this we owe you an enduring gratitude.

“As State Secretary of our great party in the state, you have shown dexterity and capacity to perform in your office and I am confident that you will work in synergy with the chairman and other members of State Executive Committee to ensure success of the party in the 2023 general elections.

“It is with great pleasure that I and members of our great party in Delta join your family, friends and well-wishers in thanking Almighty God for His continued mercy, protection and provision for you in the past 51 years’’.

The governor wished the secretary a happy birth anniversary celebration and prayed that God Almighty should grant him many more years of good health and strength to continue with his devotion to making PDP the party of choice in Delta.
