The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, the immediate past governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, and the Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Guwor, at the weekend, graced the House warming ceremony and 27 years marriage anniversary of the Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Oshimili South Local Government chapter, Ogbueshi Dada Okonji.

Okowa, while inaugurating the house congratulated Ogbueshi Okonji for executing the gigantic project, and attributed the successful completion of the project to hard work and God’s divine favour.

According to him, “I have never been to this side of the town, I am glad to be here and from what I have seen, the level of development, I can say is the work of God.

“I thank God because, He has provided resources for you and you have worked hard. I believe this money did not come from the Party, but you have worked hard in your own private business.

“You have invited us for your house warming ceremony, we thank God for providing resources for you, we also thank God for the family He has given to you, a bright family that guarantee the peace of the home. I believe that what we see here today is a thing of joy.”

While praying for him and the family, Okowa commended Ogbueshi Okonji for maintaining good relationship with others which informed the presence of dignitaries, especially the Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, at the ceremony.

He stated, “I am also very glad that your Excellency the Deputy Governor is here with us this afternoon, I think it is the level of relationship that you have kept with people that enabled everybody to be here with you this afternoon.

“As I congratulate you, I also congratulate your wife and the children, it is my prayer that God will truly dwell in this home with you, that this home shall be called the home of peace, and His grace will be rested in this home.

“And as you live in peace with your neighbors and the entirety of Asaba people, it is my prayer that God will continue to provide resources for you and to honour you as you move forward into the future.”
