PDP Inaugurates High-Powered Committees For Ossai’s Reception

THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ndokwa nation has constituted high-powered committees to organise a grand reception in honour of the Secretary of the PDP in Delta State,  Engr. Dan Ossai.

Inaugurating the committees at the PDP Secretariat at Kwale, Ndokwa West Local Government Area on Friday,  Chairman of the party in the area, Ogbuefi Lucky Okuji on behalf of his counterparts in Ukwuani and Ndokwa East Local Government Areas, Engr Patrick Kaine and Chief Vincent Osilonya respectively,  stated that the reception would be used to showcase the strength of the party in the state and the beyond.

He charged members of the committees not to leave any stone unturned to ensure that the event was grand.

Okuji said, “today is a great day as we are here to inaugurate committees for the grand reception for the able State Secretary of our great party, Engr. Dan Ossai.

“You, as members of the committees were carefully selected based on your track records.

“We want to also use the reception to tell opposition political parties to say Ndokwa nation is PDP and PDP is Ndokwa nation so that opposition political parties will be reminded that from the beginning Ndokwa nation and Delta in general belong to the PDP.

“The reception by the grace of God will take place on July 2 at Utagba-Uno,  Ndokwa West Local Government Area.

“All members of the PDP in the state and the beyond are expected to attend the event, so, we have to be prepared.

“It is time to tell opposition political parties not to bother to enter Ndokwa nation or Delta as there is no room, we are comfortable with the PDP.”

Those who spoke at the event lauded the leadership qualities of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa,  saying the reception was necessary for the PDP to show its strength in the state.

The Finance Committee has Sir Monday Onyeme as Chairman,  Dr. Kingsley Ashibogwu (Secretary) and Chief Goddy Aboh, Tony Enumah, Henry Emeli and Charles Izege as members.

For the Venue Committee,  Chief Ifeanyi Eze emerged as Chairman with Joseph Chukwunalu as Secretary and Kenneth Nwaomucha,  Tony Onah, Friday Edemanya, Chiekem Dafe and Alex Oganwu as members.

Also, Ogbuefi Lucky Okuji heads the Contact and Mobilisation Committee which has Hon. Vincent Osilonya as Secretary and Engr Kaine Patrick,  Augustine Orji, Victor Ezie, Power Anuku, Kingsley Egugbo, Chukwutem Adibeli as members while for the Entertainment Committee,  Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi is the Chairman, Patrick Ogelenya as Secretary, and Osabenyi Nwabueze, Rosaline Anigabor,  Fidelis Amudo,  Winifred Orara,  Prudence Obianife, Sunday Odagwe, Henry Ekuocha, Chika Nwoke, Okwuwa Ezechi, Ndidi Oneh, Ikechukwu Ofulu, Sylvon Obi, Stanley Opia as members.

The Publicity Committee has Chief Godday  Mgbabego as Chairman,  Chuks Edeme as Secretary and Fidelis Egugbo,  Wilson Ishima, Felix Osuya, Chukwunedum Eze, Sunday Eze as members while Security Committee has Chief Godday Obi Nzete as Chairman and Barr. Possible Ajede as Secretary and Hon. Juan Governor, Ifeanyi Osakwe,  Anslem Nzete, Emmanuel Obah, Ugo Anamali, Basil Agbanashi, Jeffrey Azagba as members.

Responding on behalf of members of the different committees, Chief Mgbabego assured that the reception would be properly organised.
