CHIEF Godwill Obielum, has said the affirmation of Rt. Hon. Sherrif Oborevwori, as the duly elected governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Delta State was a call for the party to work as one family.

Reacting to the verdict in Asaba on Friday,  Chief Obielum, a renowned politician in the area, said, “this is victory for our party, the PDP.

“It is time for us to work in unity for the progress of the party, deepen our democracy and keep our state on a progressive course.

He observed that going to the court of law was not new in the PDP as a democratic party, asserting, “what matters is that at the end of the day, we come out stronger, more united to deliver the candidates of our party at the polls.”

The PDP Chieftain thanked the Governor of Delta State,  Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa who is the Vice Presidential Candidate of the party for the 2023 elections for providing leadership for the party.

“The Vice Presidential candidate of our great party, the PDP,  Sen. Dr.  Ifeanyi Okowa, has shown that he is the leader of the party not in words but by actions; we are happy with his commitment to keep the party united as we go into the 2023 general elections.

“I congratulate Deltans who are mostly, members of the PDP,” he added.
