EUNICE Itohan Awikpen holds a B.Sc. in Business Education from the Delta State University, Abraka and is the CEO of Eunice-Tee Beauty Villa, Asaba. She is a beautician, a hair-stylist and a trainer.
She was jobless for three years after graduation till she enrolled in the Delta State Government’s Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP.)
Though, three years in business, Eunice-Tee Beauty Villa is everything any beauty-conscious lady would desire in a beauty salon.
She furnished her shop tastefully and stocked it full with beauty products.
Her enthusiasm at her job speaks volume as evidence of a rewarding career and satisfaction in the choice she made. She speaks on job creation programme.
“The programme has been helpful, and I acquired lots of knowledge during the OPET, EBMT and from my trainer.
“The training and the establishment with starter pack equipped me for the life of entrepreneurship. I am adhering strictly to tips on how to manage my business, market my products, retain my clients, and record-keeping.
“I never dreamt that I could own, manage my own business, expand it, buy more equipment and train others. I have trained fifteen people; four have established.
“Governor Okowa, through the job creation Office, made it possible. Kudos to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Prof. Eric Eboh and his wonderful team.”
