Victor Igheghe is a beneficiary of the Delta State Government’s Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP.)
He was trained and established in Barbing in the 2019/2020 STEP cycle. He hails from Ika South LGA.
Though, he enrolled as an OND holder, he is now an HND graduate in Public Administration. He is the CEO of Vic’s Barbing Salon. His story:
“I am in business. STEP engaged me and took me out of the job market.
“Through STEP, I have achieved a lot. I have a comfortable barbing salon suitable for all categories of clients.
“From the proceeds of my business, I continued with my HND after I dropped out of school after my OND because of poor funding. Currently, I sponsor my younger siblings in school.
“I trained two of my friends free of charge to help them have a decent means of livelihood.
I have one trainee at present. STEP made me realize my goal; it made my dream of obtaining an HND come true.”
