The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph.D., was among dignitaries who attended the Funeral Service of late Mr. Zaccheaus Ijabiyi Dada, popularly known as Ebubedike, on Friday.

The Funeral Service, was held at Vaults and Gardens, Asaba.
In his sermon at the ceremony, the Pastor in Charge of Winners Chapel, King Jesus Branch, Pastor Michael Chuks Victor, described the late Zaccheaus Ijabiyi as a man whose life was worthy of emulation, marked by great impact and remarkable encounters.
Pastor Victor, who titled his message “A Journey of a Just Man,” said that the journey of a just man was characterised by God’s faithfulness.
He noted that God always provides a way of escape in the face of life’s challenges, enabling believers to overcome difficulties and experience breakthroughs.
The cleric urged Christians to give thanks to God in every situation, stressing that every believer should live with the hope of making heaven.
According to him, “We are therefore not here this hour to sorrow, but to give glory to God.”
“In everything, we should give thanks to God, as that is the will of God in Christ concerning us.”
He urged the bereaved family and the congregation not to see the occasion merely as a moment of sorrow but also as an opportunity to glorify God and appreciate Him for the life of their departed loved one.
Pastor Victor noted that the deceased had completed his earthly assignment, stressing that the time of a person’s departure from this world was ultimately in God’s hands.
Some of those who accompanied the Deputy Governor to the ceremony included Sir Christopher Osakwe, Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Mr Kelly Penowe.
The deceased was the Father-in-law of Dr Onyeka Ikediashi, a tax expert.
