President Bola Tinubu has revealed that he offered prayers for the peace, unity, and economic progress of Nigeria during his recent trip to Saudi Arabia.
In a personal statement shared on his verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, the President reflected on his visit, highlighting the rare honor granted to him and his delegation to step inside the Holy Kaaba in Makkah to perform Umrah.
Expressing deep gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Tinubu noted that the warm reception underscored the strong ties of faith and diplomacy between both nations.
”In those sacred moments, I prayed for peace, unity, and prosperity for our dear nation and for all Nigerians,” Tinubu stated.
