COMMISSIONER for Works, Delta State, Chief James Augoye, has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for giving him a platform to showcase his potentials.
Auguye spoke at the weekend in Abuja, when he bagged the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (NICE) Award.
“This award is dedicated to my Boss, the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa who gave me the opportunity to serve the people which elicited this recognition.
“I thank the organisers of this event and most importantly Deltans who provided the enabling environment for us to work without hindrance.
“With this recognition, we will not rest on our oars in the delivery of democratic dividends to our people,” the Commissioner for Works who was represented at the event by his political aide, Victory Ukeredi said.
Organisers of the award which was part of activities to mark the 18th International Conference of the NICE, said the award was in recognition of Augoye’s achievements as the Commissioner for Works, Delta State.
