REV. Fr.  Victor Ijeh, has asked Christians to be hospitable and generous to people.

The Priest made the call at the Catholic Church of the Ascension,  Asaba,  Delta State on Sunday morning while delivering a Homily.

“Do not be anxious; destinies are different, so, be careful of who you imitate.

“Know that there is no competition in matters of destinies; we worry so much, do not die because you are thinking; your life is very precious, more precious than material things.

“Do not be anxious about tomorrow because tomorrow will take care of itself, rather, seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other thing shall be added to you.”

Also at the Holy Mass, the Priest in charge of the Church, Rev. Fr. Hilary Ibegbulem urged Christians to render services to God selflessly.

Fr. Ibegbulem spoke while inaugurating the 2022 harvest committee of the Catholic Church of the Ascension,  Asaba,  Delta State.

The committee has Ikechukwu Mokogwu, Anthony Akwuba, Fidelis Egugbo,  Chidi Ezeani,  Emeka Ezeibekwe, Bennett Iwuoha, Augustina Akabuogu, Ann Onwumelu, Gloria Ekweonye, Janefrances Ihekwaba, Ifeanyi Okoloba, Henry Onuigbo and John Fawole.

The Holy Mass featured thanksgiving by parishioners.
