Popular chef, Nze Uzochukwu Elui, has expressed strong confidence in the ability of renowned businessman and philanthropist, Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, to deliver effectively on his appointment as Director of the City Boy Movement in the South East.
Elui described the appointment as a masterstroke that reflects strategic foresight and a clear understanding of the socio-economic dynamics of the South East. He noted that Obi Cubana’s selection aligns with the aspirations, values and entrepreneurial spirit of the region.
The founder of the Old English Restaurant, Lounge and Apartments with outlets in Aba, Owerri and Enugu, said Obi Cubana’s rise in business, combined with his sustained commitment to youth empowerment and community development, makes him well suited to drive the objectives of the City Boy Movement in the region.
“This appointment is a masterstroke. Chief Iyiegbu understands the people, especially the youths, because he has experienced the struggles, growth and responsibility that come with building enterprises and uplifting communities,” Elui said.
He described Obi Cubana as more than a successful entrepreneur, portraying him as a unifier, bridge-builder and community leader whose humane approach has earned him widespread respect and acceptance.
