The achievements of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State were celebrated on Tuesday by Deltans in the diaspora.

Speakers at the occasion, including Messrs. Jude Ulogwe, Tony Animadu, Eddy Nwamaka, and Philip Egwu expressed joy that Governor Oborevwori is fulfilling his electoral promises.
The event was organized by Deltans in Houston, Texas, United States of America, to host the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, Ph.D.
Deputy Governor Onyeme took time to brief attendees on the strides Governor Oborevwori’s administration is making in Delta State.
According to him, Delta is now safer for socio-economic activities.
He said, “I am very happy that Deltans in the diaspora, especially those in Houston, are abreast of what is happening at home in our dear Delta State.
”In all honesty, our administration, led by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, has impacted positively on all aspects of life be it religion, the economy, social activities, or infrastructure.
”We are aware that Governor Oborevwori engaged Julius Berger Plc to construct flyovers worth billions of naira in strategic towns like Warri, Ughelli, Agbor, and others.
”The administration’s success stories are evident in healthcare, education, and other sectors, and I am happy that you are following up with developments back home.
”I enjoin you to visit home more regularly and contribute to the growth of your communities and our state.
“As you know, Delta is one of the safest states in the country for securing quick returns on your investments, we have Free Economic Zones in Kwale and Koko where you can establish your industries.”
The attendees thanked the Deputy Governor for the update and pledged their continuous support for Governor Oborevwori’s administration.
Some of those who accompanied the Deputy Governor to the ceremony included the Obi of Aboh, His Imperial Majesty, Obi Greg Oputa III and Chief Johnson Opone, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
