THE Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 133 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
According to the NCDC, there are now 61,440 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country.
The NCDC disclosed this on its verified Twitter handle @NCDCgov on Sunday night.
It said, “On the 18th of October, 2020, 133 new confirmed cases and 2 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.
“Till date, 61,440 cases have been confirmed, 56,611 cases have been discharged and 1,125 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“The 133 new cases are reported from 9 states- Lagos (90), Rivers (13), FCT (8), Kaduna (8), Oyo (6), Ondo (3), Katsina (2), Nasarawa (2), Plateau (1).”
All over the world, Coronavirus Cases stand at 40,287,374 with 1,118,396 and 30,121,710 recoveries.
