The Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, on Saturday inaugurated “Good Morning Hotel” in Umutu, Ukwuani Local Government Area.
Speaking at the occasion, Sir Onyeme commended the proprietor of the Hotel, Mr. Ajieh Chukwuka, a Highlife musician with the stage name, Ejime Nwa Oma, for his perseverance and hard work, emphasizing that such investments are vital for the economic growth of the Ndokwa nation in particular and Delta State in general.

He said, ”I want to thank everyone of you for the show of love and solidarity to our son, and our brother, Ejime Nwa Oma.
”When somebody struggles in life and is making progress, every right-minded person should celebrate that person and appreciate God for giving him that enablement.
”Ejime, we are appreciating God today on your behalf and that of your family; we also appreciate you so much for not accepting defeat in this journey of life.
”Yes! You have seen the ups and downs in life but you never gave up, and today we are seeing the fruits of your hard work; may God continue to sustain and promote you.
”What you are doing is contributing to the development of our community, and our state, because if we don’t do it with the little strength that we have, we should not expect outsiders to come and do it for us; it is we who will primarily develop our place, and when we do that, we attract foreigners to come and join us in developing our area, our state.
”What we need in Ndokwa nation is peace, we do not need trouble; development can only continue to take place in an environment where there is peace.
”When there is peace, businesses and development can thrive; a peaceful environment will encourage investors.
”Peace is one of the cardinal points of our administration, a government of Renewed HOPE for MORE Agenda.
”When we have peace, we will continue to have more and more development.”
Ejime Nwa Oma told the Deputy Governor that as a musician, the hotel was established to boost tourism in the area.
He narrated his sojourn in the music industry and thanked those who contributed to his success story.
Some of those who attended the ceremony include the Chairmen of Ukwuani and Ndokwa East Local Government Council, Hon. Possible Ajede and Hon. Vincent Osilonya respectively, Engr. Dan Ossai, Hon. Alphonsus Ojo, Hon. Azuka Enebeli, among others.
