FOLLOWING the large turnout of prospective voters at venues of campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party in Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, has expressed confidence that Nigerians will thumbprint the umbrella logo on the days of elections.
In a chat with journalists at Ukwuani Local Government Area campaign held at Obiaruku on Tuesday, Sir Onyeme asserted that most Nigerians are in love with the PDP.
“From the reactions from most PVC (Permanent Voters Cards) carrying Nigerians, God will give victory to PDP at the polls.
“So far, Nigerians have experienced PDP leadership and that of All Progressives Congress, APC, and they are saying that there is no comparison as APC inflicted hardship on Nigerians.
“We thank God for the support that we are getting from most Nigerians; APC-led Government does not have the will to make Nigeria better because they gate-crashed into governance; PDP has a template on how to make Nigeria better.
“Recall that PDP was the first to get a Presidential candidate in the person of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar; PDP was the first to get a Vice-Presidential candidate in the person of our workaholic Governor, Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, a gift to Deltans, Nigerians and humanity.
“So, when the interpretation of the law had to come in before other political parties could get their Vice-Presidential candidates, the PDP has rolled out its manifesto and till date, apart from PDP that is engaging in an issue-based campaign, other political parties are just rabbling about what they will do for Nigeria because they are not prepared.
“I can assure you that intelligent Nigerians will support the PDP to rescue Nigeria from the evil hands of the APC; PDP will reset Nigeria and put it on a progressive course again.
“It is PDP all-the-way and we thank our Vice-Presidential candidate, Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for accompanying us on the Local Government campaign tours, I also thank our former Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, and other leaders of the party for coming out with prospective voters to attend the Campaign rallies.
“So far, so good, let us keep up with the tempo till we get victory in all the elections, it is PDP, PDP, and PDP.
“Thank you Nigerians.”
