The remains of Evangelist Beatrice Oyibokure Ifakpor, who was popularly known as Mama Calender would be buried on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
A statement signed by Edoghogho Clementina Ifakpor, Mr Charles Egwolo Ifakpor for the family and Chief Emeakpor Owhe for the children, disclosed that the funeral rites would commence on Friday, July 4, 2025 with a Service of Songs to be held at the residence of the deceased at Uheri Quarter, Uzere in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State.
The Service of Songs will commence at 4 pm while on Saturday, a Funeral Service would be held in honour of the deceased at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Uzere followed immediately by internment.
Guests would be entertained at Uzere Grammar School Compound after the internment and on Sunday, July 6, 2025, there will be a Thanksgiving Service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Uzere at 10 am.
Mama Calender is survived by several relations and children, including Engr. Oke-Oghene Owhe of the Executive Committee of Friends (EXCOF).
Members of EXCOF led by Elder Sunny Edoge are expected to attend the burial ceremonies in their usual colourful style in their large numbers.
