Police have arrested suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Adamawa State, Hudu Yunusa-Ari.
Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, made the disclosure in a statement issued on Tuesday.
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had called for the arrest of Hudu over the illegal declaration of the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Aisha Dahiru Ahmed, winner of the supplementary poll.

Police spokesperson stated that Hudu was arrested in Abuja on Tuesday.
