The Israeli air force attacked a building in a suburb of the Lebanese capital Beirut on Sunday evening, according to a military spokesman.
The building was being used to store precision missiles belonging to the pro-Iranian Hezbollah militia, he said, adding that storing missiles there was a blatant violation of the agreements between Israel and Lebanon.
The airstrike came after the Israeli forces issued a warning to the population in the area of the attack in Arabic.
No one was killed in the attack, according to initial Lebanese reports, though there was extensive damage to property.
It was the third Israeli airstrike in Beirut since the ceasefire in Lebanon came into force last November, Israeli media reported.
Also on Sunday, the Israeli military reported the killing of a Hezbollah official in southern Lebanon in a drone attack. The man had been driving Hezbollah’s attempts to rebuild militia structures in the region, the military said.
