”We know how tasking it is to work in the public service; if you spend twenty years without issues, then you begin to celebrate; she has spent more than thirty years without issues, so we give God all the glory.

”We are all part of the Federal College; for six years, I was a staff member of this college,” the Deputy Governor said.

Sir Onyeme assured the institution of continued support from the state, stating, “the government will continue to collaborate and synergize with the Federal College of Education (Technical), Asaba, for its optimal growth.”

Earlier, the Chairman of the Occasion, Chief Luke Anyanwu, commended the outgoing Provost for elevating the college to a degree-awarding institution.

”She has laid the foundation and implemented the necessary structure for the institution to grow higher,” he stated.

Chief Anyanwu congratulated her on a well-earned retirement, emphasizing that it came at the expected age after meritorious service, and “not for being found wanting.”

Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, Chairman of the Governing Council of FCE(T), Asaba, also praised the Delta State government for its synergy with the institution.

He urged staff to exercise patience and faith in their careers, advising them to “rely on God for direction and avoid struggling for positions.”
