“As you must have noticed, we have a lot of Catholics in this neighborhood, unfortunately, most of them have not attended the Holy Mass for some time due to the fact that there is no place where the Holy Mass is celebrated in this neighborhood.

“It was based on this knowledge that the Parish Priest of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, Okpanam was approached for him to be celebrating the Holy Mass at St. Stella-Maris’ Mass Centre using the Maris Hall, Maris Schools, Amachai, Okpanam and by the grace of God, he has graciously accepted to be doing that.

“We thank Evangeliser Marian Obi for her zeal, the parishioners of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church, especially, Comrades Cletus Ngwodo and Felix Ogedegbe for the roles they played and are still playing for the effective take-off of the Mass Centre, we thank the Catholics and the entire Christian community in the neighborhood of Maris Schools for their patience and strong belief that with God, it is always possible.

“To you, the evangelisers, thank you for rekindling the hope of Catholics and other Christians,” Egugbo said.
