The Monday Onyeme Foundation, has released guidelines for prospective beneficiaries of its annual scholarship scheme.
A statement issued by Mr Leo Ubuane on behalf of the Foundation stated that beneficiaries of the scholarship scheme are limited to undergraduates who are residents in Delta North Senatorial District comprising Ndokwa West, Ndokwa East, Ukwuani, Ika North-East, Ika South, Aniocha South, Aniocha North, Oshimili North and Oshimili South Local Government Areas of Delta State.
Interested applicants were advised to visit mondayonyemefoundation.org.ng to fill necessary forms required for subsequent invitation to eligible candidates to participate in compulsory aptitude tests.
Closing date for the submissions of forms according to Mr Ubuane is Monday, July 16, 2025.
It would be recalled that last year, five hundred and thirty four undergraduates of different institutions of higher learning received more than N100 million.
The overall best candidate in the qualifying examinations got the sum of N600,000, second best – N500,000, third position, N400, 000 while others got minimum sum of N200,000.
The scholarship scheme which was initiated by the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA in 2016 when he was the sole sponsor, has grown with individuals and organizations making financial contributions to the scheme from different parts of the world.
