On Wednesday, 8th of November, 2023, the government of Delta State led by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, rolled out the drums to honour retired Heads of Service, 72 Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Extra Ministerial Department who served in the state from August 2014 to May, 2023.

The governor was represented at the colourful occasion by his Deputy, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA.

Sir Paul Evuarherhe and Chief Oyabevwe Origho were the two former Heads of Service who were honoured at the occasion while the Permanent Secretaries and Heads of Extra Ministerial Department include, Dr Beatrice Omeni, Dr Moore Ebreme, Mrs Florence Ofovwe, Mrs Monica Ozomaro, Mrs Florence Okenrenkporo, Solomon Sajere, Mrs Elizabeth Okeregbe, Chuma Okediadi, Barr. Hyacinth Osuhor, Felix Ambakederemo, Mrs Alice Akpoghene, Mrs Julie Akinmoyewa, Mrs Victoria Monu, Augustine Ekeke, Darlington Eyide, James Enai, Alexander Ukubeyinje, Mrs Emofokare Ikogho, Mrs Josephine Ogbodu, Orisetse-Eje Ikolo, Samuel Adjohwenyo, Dr Enaguhobor Otobo, Okeoghene Osiawa, Fekiriseye Agbeha, Eric Osharode, Mbadiwe Okonkwo, Barr. Emmanuel Okirhienyefa, Ngozi Isibor, Mrs Chinyere Ugbomah, Williams Orutu, Dr (Mrs) Caroline Ajuyah, Benjamin Igo, Mrs Hannah Omeru, Patrick Okoh, Chuks Amudo, Engr.
